NEW ACQUSITION AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
As part of a consortium Aluflexpack, together with the other members Dalekovod d.d., Konstruktor-Inženjering d.d., FEAL d.o.o. and Zagreb-Montaža d.o.o., has successfully won a tender 80,2% of shares in the joint-stock Company TLM and definitely signedin December 2007 the takeover of TLM. In this way with our own raw material source, we are ready for new market challenges.
October, 2006 PRESS RELEASE: On the 18th of October 2006 we got from Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) a Drug Master File ( DMF ) number 19868 for blister foil 20 my. The DMF number will enable our final clients – pharmaceutical companies, to place their products on the American market, packed in our blister foil. With the acquisition of the DMF certificate Aluflexpack Group has a possibility to enlarge its assortment and to strengthen its activities and position among pharmaceutical companies and their products destined for the American market. Zadar, 1.8.2006 Press information: Omial Novi d.o.o. located in Omiš, Croatia, producer of sterilizable foils and associated with Aluflexpack d.o.o. has acquired 99 % of shares in Baron S.A. in Poland. (www.baron.tychy.pl) Baron S.A. is the largest Polish producer of sterilizable aluminium packaging for the human and pet food industries. In spite of its not so long history, the company gained a significant position on the market of sterile packaging of a large group of customers, both in Poland and abroad. The company has the latest equipment to produce sterilizable containers and lids for the human and pet food industry. This integration will widen the product range of Baron S.A. and will more effectively serve the industry also with printed containers and lids. Baron S.A. will continue to further strengthen its position in the market. This strategy is underlined by the investments in new equipment which will provide a significant boost to the current production capacity. With this acquisition Aluflexpack Group will continue to strengthen its activities in the conversion of aluminium foils, which goes along with ongoing investments in a new rotogravure machine and a new UV-Flexoprinting machine.
